Startx auto start of programs (With Fluxbox)

I am using Fluxbox as my GUI I recently installed Yahoo messenger and now everytime I start Fluxbox it starts messenger.

What file do I need to edit to stop this?? Its not a big thing but its annoying me!

Thanks
Adam

That's strange that messenger could do that. It probably put an entry in your ~/.xinitrc file.

Check the following links for info about starting flux, and starting programs automatically in flux.

Enjoy!

during the installation ...

Hmmmm

Thanks Cerbere for the tips! I am off to sort it out!!

and Tinks I installed it using the RPM for redhat... because I couldnīt find one that was for Slackware, changed it with RPM2TGZ and then UnTarred the file and coppied over all the files and ran ymessenger.... I donīt remember seening that startup option!

Anyway off to learn more about how things work and manually remove ymessenger from my startup!
