startup


To allow my internet to work i need to load up my wireless usb network card the following way everything I log in from restart

plugin unplug
iwconfig wlan0 up essid linksys
iwconfig wlan0 key xxxxxxxxxx
iwconfig wlan0 channel 6
iwconfig wlan0 mode Manage
ifconfig 192.168.1.100
ifconfig wlan0 up

after i give thoese commands everything works, I was wondering if there was a file I could put them in so that they are ran automaticly at startup , i'm pretty new to slackware and not quite sure , thank you for you help

How about /etc/rc.d/rc.local ?
