Starting Openldap server through webmin!!

I have installed openldap-2.4.19
And I wish to use webmin.
I successfully installed webmin 1.500
But when I start ldap server from it, error appears
"slapd not found on your system. perhaps module configuration is incorrect"

I know that configuration is wrong but dont know wat is wrong.
Directories in configuration file are not on my system.

Does it mean ldap is not installed or does it mean it is installed somewhere else?

I am working on Slackware 13.

thanks in advance

Why are you concerned with using webmin when you've not even configured openldap in the first place? Get Openldap working correctly and worry about webmin later.

Slackware only ships with the OpenLDAP client and libraries. You will need to rebuild the package and enable the server.
