Start vmplayer without executing vm-config

Hello,everyone.

I have been using Slackware 11 with VMWare-vmplayer (Windows XP) for a while. However, when I start vmplayer,I have to re-execute vm-config.pl everytime because I won't start except I re-run the config program.Do you guys have any solution on this one?I don't want to re-execute that config program everytime,it's annoying.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Do you have this in rc.local to get the modules loaded when you boot?

if [ -x /etc/rc.d/rc.vmware ]; then
/etc/rc.d/rc.vmware start
fi
