There was/is a way of finding out which app/program (e.g. KTorrent used to be -maybe still is, one of them) does not depend on KDE but I can not find it in my notes. Can anyone offer a pointer?
Thanks but that's not what I meant. In cases where you do not use KDE and call a program usually beginning with letter K, you incidentally start most KDE services. But some applications do not rely on KDE but typically Qt only (KTorrent is or was one of them if I recall correctly, so that is why it is cited). Is there an easy way to differentiate? I vaguely remember that there is but can not find it.
