Ssh Logs

Hi there,
I want to make ssh writing logs to /var/log/sshd.log but I can't find the way. Usually it writes logs to /var/log/messages, but I need it as a stand alone log file. Could somebody please explain to me how to do it ?

Thanks in advance !
Steve

Read 'man sshd_config', then set SyslogFacility in /etc/ssh/sshd_config, then set up a log with the facility in /etc/syslog.conf. Then restart sysylogd, then restart sshd.
