src2pkg.net is down

Src2pkg.net is down.

I tried reading the docs to find out the exact email address to report this specific problem to, and then I decided it would be easier to just post it here.

The page sent back is:

Code:

<br />
<b>Fatal error</b>:  Call to undefined function:  date_default_timezone_set() in <b>/home/pesar2/public_html/src2pkg/inc/init.php</b> on line <b>99</b><br />

Code:

[/usr/doc/src2pkg-2.4]$ cat CREDITS

Well spotted dugan.

Although Gilbert is the main author of the program itself, I operate the site for him (domain is fully paid up until 2016, so it should be around for a while!). I was doing some fiddling with my own domain the past few days and managed to screw up the php version on the shared hosting.

I'm moving host over the next month too, so my apologies for any further disruptions.

Cheers,
- Piete

Thanks for taking care of that so quickly, Piete.

I see that you've fixed it, so I'm marking the thread solved.

It looks like src2pkg.net is down again.

Apologies (again). I'm doing the hosting move a bit earlier than I expected. I fiddled a bit yesterday, and had to wait for the nameserver propagation. As it turns out, after all that, I'm having some difficulties getting all the kinks worked out. I really dislike playing with DNS, so any tutorials or assistance welcome :)

- Piete.

Shazzam. That should all be up and running now. When I'm messing around with src2pkg.net myself I tend to check LQ just to see who's noticed I've broken it, but if it does go down for more than a day or two, the chances are I have probably missed it - ping me (or Gilbert) a PM and I will take a look at it. The most likely reason for it go down now will be bandwidth transfer overrun (this plan only has 5gb / month vs my previous 'unlimited').

Otherwise it should be up without problems now until at least 2016 :)

Thanks for using it!
- Piete.

HI
There are some problems because when I try to download the src2pkg installation packages (RPM o , those links lead to a "404 -Not found" message.

for Redhat/SuSE packages
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/...4-1.noarch.rpm ----->"404 -Not found"

and the same for the source code

http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/...g/src2pkg-2.4/ ----->"404 -Not found"

Thanks!!
