squid proxy restriction on peer-to-peer? (limewire)

good day,

have you guys know how to remove or check the squid proxy restrictions on peer-to-peer programs like limewire or torrent?

whats puzzles me is that i've able to use p2p

but in one of ipvpn locations they can able browse the internet using proxy settings on their browser but unable use p2p?

any idea?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on the proxy. If the proxy blocks the p2p port, AFAIK, you won't be able to use p2p without Tunneling.
