Great to hear you got it all working (and that you didn't go back into Mandrake in disgust ). I wasn't expecting that little tip to work as I was anticipating a bit of unwanted interaction from the TV card but it would appear that my worres were unfounded and it worked jsut like it was supposed too http://images.linuxquestions.org/que...ons/icon14.gif

Yes well, I don't have any faith that the TV card itself works, but I don't need it to under Linux.
