Sorting images by resolution
I have a lot of images that I am trying to sort out jpg, png, tif, bmp all in their own folders, but what I want to accomplish is to sort by resolution. Tried both Thunar and Dolphin, but it sorts only by file size, and not really by resolution. Can that even be done? The details mode shows file size, date, but I still can't figure out how to get any kind of file manager that has that option , or maybe I missed something.
Any ideas?

You could probably write a shell script that uses resolution information from ImageMagick's identify utility.

Fresh pie tastes best when stolen from the window sill where it cools.

There was a joke, long time ago:
a teacher knows what to teach, the professor knows where is the teacher....
You should only know how to find good scripts, almost everything has been implemented already...
