Some forum fonts do not display properly

Fonts on a few website are not displaying properly, I'm using Firefox 8.0.1. I did install a number of fonts by clicking on them and installing on the system so I can use them around my system.

I'm not sure if they cause the problem but it very annoying and certainly not easy on the eyes. There are a number of forums i visit where i get this issue, marking all threads/posts as read normally fixes the problem.

Can someone tell me how to fix this and tell me how to properly install fonts on Slack 13.37 assuming what I done was wrong?

Thank you in advance.

if you haven't already done so, I would suggest installing the webcore fonts.

http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13...webcore-fonts/

and, it might be worthwhile to read through the slackbuild script that comes with this package to see which part of the filesystem these fonts get installed to. or alternatively, install the fonts then read /var/log/packages/webcore-fonts-3.0-noarch-3_SBo to see a list of files (with full paths) included in the package.

That did the trick, thank you.
