So, how exactly do I install Eric's Oxygen-GTK KDE theme?

Hi all,

I downloaded and installed the Oxygen-GTK theme that Eric put together for us, but it's not showing up in my themes.I followed the directions and put copy the rc file to ~/.gtkrc-2.0, but I'm not seeing anything called "Oxygen-GTK."

Any suggestions?

I simply copied /usr/share/themes/oxygen-gtk/gtk-2.0/gtkrc into ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and my GTK applications started using the theme.

If you're running Slackware64 with multilib, you might want to create a compat32 package from oxygen-gtk-1.0.4-i486-1alien.tgz so that 32-Bit apps will also use the theme

convertpkg-compat32 -i oxygen-gtk-1.0.4-i486-1alien.tgz
installpkg /tmp/oxygen-gtk-compat32-1.0.4-i486-1alien.tgz

Try with gtk-chtheme.

I'm going to have to investigate this further.

Does gconf have anything to do with this issue?
