Small Issue with Alien Bob's VLC package and DVD playback on 14.1

I have always used Eric's restricted build of his VLC package with no problems. However starting with 14.1 RC3 and now 14.1 if I try to play a DVD I have to install the libdvdcss package to play commercial DVD's. This is no big deal, but the libdvdcss package is statically built with his VLC build, so I am wondering why its not using the statically linked binary? Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

I have had this problem as well. Not really sure why, either, but it's easy enough to fix for now. Just keep libdvdcss installed.

Now that I think about it, I probably should have said something about it before. Whoops.
