Have you tried adjusting the fonts in Firefox?

I had the same problem myself once with very tiny fonts that I needed a magnifying glass to read The kde fonts are easy to set but it was the gtk apps that I had a problem with.

For gkrellm, you can change them by going into the configuration and under themes, click on the fonts tab.

Not sure about the other apps unless they also allow you to set them in their configurations, and it's been a while since I had the problem but I believe I had to create a .gtkrc and .gtkrc-2.0 file in my home directory, a little googling brought me to http://voxx.demon.co.uk/linux/linuxd...00050.txt#0022
and under the section `Setting gtk and gtk2 default font sizes' sounds like what I had to to do. Hope that helps

Hi guys,

not sure if i am right - but in my case every 'gtk' application in 'kde', (like 'gedit', 'mozilla-firefox ...') seems too small. I found this solution in the internet and it has success on this machine.

There was written:

In KDE you will have two sets of fonts:
KDE and GTK. It is possible (with exception of FF) to make all aps

To make GTK apps use the same font and KDE is easy:
edit:
~/.kde/share/config/gtkrc-2.0
and
~/.kde/share/config/gtkrc
and at the end of each file add this line
gtk-font-name = "font_name size"

in my case this is
gtk-font-name = "Hemi Head 426 11"

as selected for KDE (Control Center -> Appearance & Themes -> Fonts)

------------------

... after starting the computer next day the text i have written in '~/.kde/share/config/gtkrc..' where overwritten from the system;

so i find another way to give '$ touch gtkrc-2.0' and in that (making) file i set this line: gtk-font-name="fontName size", like: gtk-font-name="Sans 12", as an example.

So i don't think i will be a programer next time!
