Slax website
 

this may not be the right place to post this, but for some reason, slax.org is offline, so i cant grab any modules from that website. I am trying to install firefox and java to my slax comp, but i cant access the site. when i go to the site, it says:

An error occurred while loading http://slax.org:
Unknown host slax.org

(i am using the konquerer browser)

did i miss something? is the slax project over, just like that?

by the way, i posted this here because there was no section for slax, and i figured since it was developed from slackware this would be the best place to post my problem. Please help!

Yeah, slax.org doesn't load for me. Maybe check back in an hour or two. They could be doing site maintenance, server upgrade? Good luck with this:-)
You could try downloading slackware packages, but, I have no idea if they'll work on Slax.
Have you ever considered giving Slackware a try?

and this is the Slackware forum. :D

no... i am experimenting with lin ux right now... i am running slax from a pen drive on a windows system.

That's a coincidence - I'm experimenting with Windows, running
it in a Kernel Based Virtual Machine in my Slackware OS.
