Question slax bit torent?

I just discovered slackware, actually slax, and I love it -maybe it's stemming from the little yin yang cursor thing. This is also the first live cd I have tried that doesn't blow my eardrums out from the sound configuration not working right....I'm excited.

I was trying to install nvidia drivers in mdk 9.2 and I didn't have the kernel source -so it aborted. I then I was not able to edit a few files, for lack of knowledge in editing files from the command line, to get back into X. I tried using knoppix and phlack to edit the files but they wouldn't let me. Which brought me to slax and hopefully in a few days I should have a slackware full install.

Does anyone know if the live cd has somethhing to download bit torrents? I could use winXP, but I'm curious.

btw, whats the best and easiest way to edit files via command line, I was thinking vim -but so far most of the tutorials I have found are not worth looking at.

I don't know specifically about that distro. Personally I use pico but my experience with those live cds is that you have to use vi.
