slapt-get
I have decided to ditch swaret, and go with slapt-get, compiled and installed it just fine, and edited the slapt-getrc file, then ran slapt-get --update , and things seem to go well, but at the end it tells me to correct sources, and try again...I don't understand why..
PS, I am still running 10.0 , and I don't want to update to 10.1 I just want slapt-get to update to newer 10.0 stuff... and I can't really give show the contents of slapt-getrc , so someone who works with slapt-get at least give me an idea what to look for , then I post it , and see what needs to be modified.. |
I use linuxpackages.net as one of my sources. That plus slapt-gui makes for easy updating and new software additions.
Code:
# See /usr/doc/slapt-get-0.9.9h/example.slapt-getrc |
hrmm, my file doesn't look like that, this is all I have, under the sources. (at the beginning, since after that is the unofficial sources, which i have commented, and then mirrors listings) also, where did you get the gui, and how did you set it up?
Code:
# working directory, local storage/cache |
I found a faster mirror than slackware.com and used that instead of the default source
As for slapt-gui... Official site linuxpackages.net package |
Just put a (#) in front of the origional entries and modify with your own:
Code:
# See /usr/doc/slapt-get-0.9.9h/example.slapt-getrc |
