It's under the heading "Multiple OS variants or flavors".

It is a live distro, you don't need to install anything. There's several flavors, but if you get the standard live ISO, it will include all the WMs/DEs that Slackware includes (and will boot KDE4 by default). There are several other options that change the included WMs/DEs, but they're mostly self-explanatory by looking at the filenames.

If you cannot follow the simple advice given then Slackware is not the distro for you. Sorry. RTFM is actually a learning tool and not derogatory in nature.

The pertinent info off the link cwizardone provided that covers what I wrote (bolded content was used for emphasis from me).

Multiple OS variants or flavors

The “liveslak” scripts are able to generate a variety of Slackware Live ISO flavors: SLACKWARE, XFCE, PLASMA5, MATE, CINNAMON, CUSTOM. The locations where you can download these ISO files are shown in the next paragraph.

By default, “liveslak” creates a 2.6 GB large ISO from scratch that will give you a complete 64bit Slackware-current Live Edition.
The scripts can also create a 700 MB slimmed-down XFCE version with XDM as the graphical login manager which fits on a CDROM medium or a 1 GB USB stick.
A 3.0 GB ISO image of Slackware64-current containing Plasma 5 instead of KDE 4 is also an option. The PLASMA5 variant is spiced up with several other packages I maintain: vlc, libreoffice, calibre, qbittorrent, ffmpeg, chromium, openjdk, veracrypt.
The option to generate a 1.7 GB ISO containing either the Mate or the Cinnamon desktop instead of Slackware’s own KDE 4 could be added courtesy of Willy Sudiarto Raharjo’s repositories.
The “liveslak” scripts allow a large degree of customization so that you can create “your own” variant of a Slackware based Live OS. One example of what’s possible is the Live Edition of Cinelerra CV.
We're generally more than willing to help out new users, but, many times, the info we tend to frequently answer can be easily found in the proper locations.

This isn't a knock to OP, but just trying to spread the information

Download the ISO images

As stated above, you can choose between several variants of Slackware Live Edition. ISO images for the SLACKWARE, XFCE, PLASMA5 and MATE flavours using the latest Slackware-current packages are available.
Reading is fundamental.

He's wants to set up a "small" Slackware install as this blog entry suggest.

I agree, what does a question about the Slackware live cd have to do with a minimal install of Slackware?

If the OP wants a small Slackware installation, I think Xfce liveslak cd is a good choice
since is the only that fits on cd.
But be aware that it doesn't contain any KDE or Gnome stuff and some additional
packages like Broadcom wireless driver or multilib, due to cd space.
