Slackware64 14.1 kde gets crazy

Hi everybody,
I've installed slackware64 14.1 (not upgraded but a new installation). Everything seemed to run smoothly, but after a while (couple of hours) kde menus, start menu, hints, etc, became invisible!! I could only see their shape, but nothing inside (they are transparent). With xfce everything is alright, so it isn't an X server problem.
Is there anybody with the same problem?

Hey, I've got a fresh install of Slackware64 14.1 running KDE since Friday and I haven't had that exact problem. I did run into an open program missing from the left side of the task bar, which was unusual, but it came back. And I did have a thumbnail view of an open program on the task bar stick on the screen, but it cleared itself after a bit as well.

Maybe video driver issues?

Ok problem solved. I run slackware on an Asus Eee pc with intel atom processor N570 and integrated graphic card. I have only 1 GB ram and when Desktop Effects are enabled I have the strange behaviour I described. I disabled all Desktop Effects and kde got fixed. Thanks for your help.
