Slackware13 Setting Password Complexity

Password Complexity

I would like to set password complexity on my new slackware (13) install.
Right now any user can just use the word "password" or "12345678" for their password.

I want to be able to set “complexity” of the password such as the password has to have at least 1 capital letter, 1 number, 1 special character, etc in it.

I know where I can set the number of characters and failed logins, etc. but where do I configure the password complexity?

Thanks!

You may want to look into using something like cracklib for that.

There's a SlackBuild for it at Slackbuilds.org as well...

How do you integrate the cracklib lib into the normal passwd command?

I read the notes on installation, but it is not clear in my mind how to call it when someone issues the passwd command.
