Probably a website script issue:
http://www.slackware.com/changelog/current.php?cpu=i386

"ChangeLog for the current tree of Slackware Linux on x86 (32-bit) cannot be found. Consider emailing the webmaster"

Edit:
Or mirror trouble since the ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/ is down.

Since I can't add more RAM to my trusty laptop, and I use dozens of programs which have no x86_64 versions, and "going multilib" seems like a time-sinking kludge, I, for one, am just not interested in leaving x86...I see no benefit.

Maybe it's time to remove S/390 as well...

It looks like the error checking in the script that pulls the change log for x86 doesn't work very well.

It's back now.

I am thankful that Pat and the team continue to maintain the x86 branch. My old Acer netbook happily runs Slackware-current.

A world community would have more x86 based machines therefore Slackware x86 should remain viable or useable by that community.

Kinda funny when you think that at the beginning of this milennia, x86_64 wasn't available anywhere. It was first introduced to the Linux kernel is 2001 and the hardware wasn't available until 2003.

The more you know...
