I like it. I've always avoided 'trademark' tattoos as you never know where the association is going to go in future. That said, I would think slackware is one of the safest bets you could have gone for!

I saw the cute openSuse gecko logo tattoo'd on someone's neck once. Quite nice, but I hate suse!

Body art is as old as human kind. It is a personal thing for every individual. Being a Biker. I have a few.

One should ink themselves with what is near and dear to their heart. Like your Tat.
Looks like you went to a reputable shop to have it done. Nice job.

If I didn't know any better, I would say it would be Kenny playing with the negative-rep again,

The problem I have with tattoos is that, no matter what they look like when new, they all seem to turn blue with age.

Other than that, I think you have signaled new heights of fanatic Slackness.

I would not like any tatoo for me, but as far as they go, I like this one most.

As this (3D) logo is not in Slackware's web site, but it is very popular, does anybody from where did it originate?

Chris

That's exactly my question. Most of us associate this logo with Slackware but it does not feature in slackware.com. So my question is, who came up with it first.

The first place I saw it was on Eric's wiki, but I don't know if that's where it originated.
