Slackware stays crispy in milk
|
As a kid I always thought the makers of Cap'n Crunch cereal should choke when they used the phrase "Stays crispy, even in milk" in their commercials. This was because in fact the cereal would dissolve into sludge if not finished within 30 seconds of pouring milk on it. Not only was it not "crispy" - it was no longer distinctly separate pieces.

Cap'n Crunch is like eating a bowl full of razor blades. I never ate the stuff til I was 25, but had no idea just how abrasive that stuff was. I guess I ate it in the first 30 second window eh?

I can NOT believe someone clicked on the button indicating they found your post "helpful". Did someone actually solve a problem based on it? "Hmmm my mouth has been bleeding every morning for years. Let me check out LQ. Hey it says Cap'n Crunch is like razor blades - that explains everything!". |

Oh, I remember Mosaic and all of its lovely gray background and icons. The good old days!

No need to settle for memory lane folks, if you find yourself snorting in derision at the thought of newfangled gadgets like browser tabs and mouse wheels there is still hope for you :p
