Slackware patches archives

Is there an online cumulative historical archive of all 14.2 patches? I am aware of an archive for Current.

Thanks. :)

I've never seen or heard of one. Just the cumulative archive for -current and multilib. Maybe tadgy could be influenced to enable that for stable releases.

Here is where I get mine... ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...-14.2/patches/

Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

I think upnort is looking for previously uploaded patches that have since been replaced by newer uploads (like every 4.4.x kernel upgrade provided for 14.2, not just the latest 4.4.261).

Looking for cumulative.

For some years I had my local repo configured to not rsync --delete. I started that practice once upon a time because I experienced a bad /patches package -- Samba I think. The problem was upstream and fixed promptly a couple of days later upstream, but not deleting previous repo packages allowed me to quickly revert.

Somewhere along the way I restored the sync with delete. I vaguely remember having disk space issues although that turned out to be a temporary hurdle.

I have cumulative /patches packages up to one year ago through my backups. Still leaves me about 4 years short.

I am not desperate for the packages. I restored my old configuration to stop syncing with delete. When 15 is released officially I won't be missing any /patches packages in the future.

This is certainly something I can add to the cumulative archive - I can start it when 15 comes out. But that doesn't help you, upnort; sorry about that :)

Nice offer! I can count on one hand how many times I wanted to revert a /patches package the past 20 years, but sure is nice to be able to do that quickly. Having an online cumulative repo will help people.

Don't worry about me. I have the files I need. I wish I had not enabled rsync --delete a few years ago but c'est la vie. I updated my backup strategy and related config files so I'm good to go again with my local repos.
