slackware + openldap: could not locate usable POSIX Threads


Hi, slackware users

slackware 10.2 with kernel 2.6.15.4
openldap-2.3.19

'configure' fails with:

Other distos (like my workstation's FC4) have no problems with running openldap's 'configure'

i am also eager to run openldap, and to share teh home directories
here we have a rh9 server and all machine connected through openldap and the client machines are mandrake 10

i only use slack and i dont/admini dont know how to add this along with server
help me also,
i downloaded the package from linuxpackages.net and installed, do we need pam support?
