i m sure about netmask. it must be 255.255.255.0 i think there is a problem with route. or hosts .. cause i can only ping to myself.( there is no error when i write "ping 10.10.1.190"(to my ip adress).... when i write "ping 10.10.1.191...it gives me an error like " Destination host unreachable.. and when i try to ping 123.123.123.123 it gives me an error like : " connect : Network is unreachable " .. i m still searching what the problem is

to add the gateway 10.10.10.1 to the route table :

#route add default gw 10.10.10.1

if the gw is set, try some diff. ip.'s.

the route table is set by the script /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 at boot.
it takes the settings from /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf.
check if that script is executable, and if the config file has the right settings.( gateway ! )
( just with a text editor ).
if all is well, things should be setup at boot.

As far as the manual configuration of Slackware's networking you can either do a netconfig or you can do all the commands by hand. Netconfig is just a script written that does all the commands for you. Under your Winblows box goto start then run and type cmd or command then do an ipconfig /all. If you do that and your internet works you should be able to use the same settings. The gateway and your IP address don't really match and it's true if they aren't in the same subnet then it isn't going to work. I would also make sure that the drivers for your network card works too.

lspci
lsmod

as root

Then try an ifconfig to see that your network device is working should be eth0 for many cases
