* Eina * Eet * Evas * Ecore * Embryo * Edje * Efreet * E_Dbus * Eeze But I can see a way to start enlightenment. Should that be start enlightenment? or start e17? What am I missing? |
In my server box i will use a modified form of this version of Tagfiles http://www.microlinux.fr/slackware/t...Tagfiles-HOWTO
Niki provides a script to run for dependencies and this is for slackware 13.37. Also before I upgrade which i do with a fresh install i do a lot of reading online about the version I am upgrading to, this original post reminded me of this post from SysAdmin about Xkeyboard and Xmouse config. required for 13.37 http://blog.tpa.me.uk/2011/03/29/sla...3-37-xorg-hal/ I only do almost full install for desktop ;) Hope this helps |

Now the next step for me would be to install a window manager, is that what is call? I'm talking about the window that you get when your PC starts under X and you have the option to select which desktop or window you want to log into. I believe enlightenment had or has Entrance. But besides that, I think I got everything that I need on my pc right now. |

u don't install a lot of extra stuff. At the moment I have all that I need on my PC. I have Enlightenment, firefox, seamonkey, pidgin, thunderbird, xchat, pan newsreader, gftp, xmms, etc... I just need to install openoffice and upgrade the browsers to the latest versions. So, over all I have what I need at the moment and I'm real happy with it. |
