I had already referenced 'The Slack World', just not the links page. I will add the links as a sub to the general links. I like this site a lot.

I'm still missing one site. This site was very good and there was a kernel building tutorial. Have wasted 3 hours searching through my posts (cause I've mentioned it somewhere) and still can't find it.

And, btw, where can I get a userlist? I believe I can found the author by name.

What user list are you requesting? If you are referring to the LQ Forum then do a search with the advanced option. You would then search for a particular author and search queries.

I refer to a list of LQ users sorted by their name.

I hope that's ok with you (I gave you and "other people who posted" credit for it). I also added a few links. Mostly I just wanted to add some extra comments and descriptions. Also, I did not include some links ... just cuz I didn't find them too useful. So, I mean, it's not a complete 'rip' of this post :D But, still I did use this post as a resource.

As for suggestions:
1) Putting the list in code tags makes it a bit hard to navigate ... you gotta scroll left and right as well as up and down. Not sure too much can be done about it tho ... (another reason I wanted to make a web page of some of them).
2) As I was looking through your post there seem to be several repeats, dunno if they are on purpose, because some things can fit in more than one section.

No problem, we all have the same goal. Promote and support a great OS and distro. Some of the multiple links reference different pages other than the home page.

Plus the dupe within another class as support for that sub heading. My original intent is still to do a web page much as you did. Time is the issue, spring is busy on a farm in the spring. Heck it's busy all the time. Who am I kidding.

I agree that the tags don't look as good as they could. But LQ is limited and I can understand why. Just using what is available.

I think I will limit the amount of links or come up with a different scheme to present them. At first the thought of a linear list or order numbered list was OK. But as the list grows then that can be awkward. A tiered list would be ideal but that will be left for a web page.

I will add the suggested links to the list.

BTW, I like the web page! A great reference for the user. Credit is not always necessary but I do appreciate the mention.
