I have an even better proposal: your Linux-Libre kernel shall detect if it runs in top of LibreBoot, and to go Kernel Panic otherwise.

Its ability of running exclusively in the top of LibreBoot will ensure the rac... err, software purity.

EFI itself is not free software, but AFAIK the software for supporting EFI is free software.

I think if you want to go this route, you would want to remove the EFI firmware from your system, not the support for it from your OS.

One must consider the "why" of it, though. If the main objective is to make everything in Freenix legal to use in a business setting, then EFI is neither here nor there.

So, now it is not legal to use EFI firmware in a business setup? Interesting...

BTW, in which country happens that?
