slackware glibc-zoneinfo-multilib-noarch update: why blacklisted/special?

Looking at the glibc-zoneinfo package, why is there a special multilib package? Its just a bunch of /usr/share data files with no lib or executable component, hence "noarch". Unless I am missing something...

I guess I can email AlienBOB but this more a curiosity than a need.

It's just that I am too lazy / can't be bothered by removing just one package from the set of multilib glibc packages that are produced from the glibc-multilib.SlackBuild. Most likely end result is that people will only become confused if they have to upgrade (or downgrade if they want to go back to 64but pure) not all of their glibc packages.
Feel free not to use that package if you have a problem with its presence.

Ok. good enough. Just got around to wondering about it since BDFL PV posted an update to glibc-zoneinfo and finally notice the "noarch" tag.
