dropline, kinda messes with your system, yes it is nice, but I noticed that when I open apps from the dl packages they easily crash on KDE.
Like for instance evolution. Before my install of dropline, it worked perfectly, after... well it just slows down my system so much I have to ctrl+alt+F* to a console and kill the process.
Also some things where kicked of, something important for nautilus, so you can imagine how my desktop looked like .
Another thing, when I boot into dropline and then back into KDE I can type exactly 1 charachter. then my keyboard completely stop responding to anything. When I reset my keyboard layout, suddenly it works again.

I noticed that I am like the first person to complain about dropline, but this is what happened. Everything worked before, so I wasn't very happy when I rebooted and saw I was quite !@#£ up...

greetz,

hehehe i was a bit fast saying i liked dropline already...(before i rebooted) i like the concept of a package making slackware a workstation minded computer... but, suddenly i couldn't log in with fluxbox anymore.. eg. /etc/X11/dm changed to /etc/dm
then the sound stoped working... had do rerun alsaconf... and some more shit... let's say i like the concept yeah... though the last time i'll ever install it on my own computer... hehehe.... next time i'll install an extra slackware to test it on first... hehehe...
