Slackware DVD Iso Doesn't Match MD5

Hi! I've downloaded the dvd iso of slackware using utorrent via the official slackware page and every time I finished and checked if the md5/asc matches, it doesn't.

I've tried downloading 2 times already.

I burned the ones that I've downloaded and as expected there were errors while installing.

Anyone has an idea why the md5 doesn't match?

Hi,

If you are using the same download location then try a different one.
As you know the validity of the transfer is dependent on the utorrent and you could be the problem. Check your logs and even check the output information for your network interface.

The problem could be network or even a local hardware problem.

Did you try ftp or wget from this site?

The md5sums don't lie man ... trust them.

Download it from another mirror.

mount the dvd which you wrote, cd /mnt/dvd do a
Code:

md5sum -c CHECKSUMS.md5 |less
(make sure that you can c this above file)

iso md5sum is for total integrity, check the independant packages by the above command from the slack 1st cd or dvd
