Slackware download..what are these?


Just finished downloading Slackware 9.1.....along with the large ISO file were 2 smaller: ASC, and MD5....what are these and how used?

The md5 is used to check your md5sums. Run md5sum on the images and if they match the number in the md5 file, you're good to go. I think the asc (ascii file) is just a small text description, iirc. All you actually require are the iso's, though.
