Slackware Download problem

I had my computer on downloading slackware ISO disk 1 & 2 for four hours. There was about 15% left for each disk to complete and for some reason the connection was broken. This is very frustrating.. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem downloading it?

Whats the most reliable site to do a download from??

Have you tried downloading them from BitTorrent? You have the links on slack's website... check it out... pretty good way to download stuff

The problem is not the site, nor the connection,
it's the software yo use ;)

Use wget, and you can continue your download
in most cases after a disconnect.

Or any FTP program, they allow resuming files.

I get best results from one in Europe, and I live in the States.... Nothing like 700kb/s downloads.
