Hello guys! We produced a short documentary on Slackware, * Legended in English and English Version*
"Long Life to Slackware is an independent Brazilian mini-documentary. It addresses the older GNU / Linux distribution still under development, Slackware Linux."
It's available on my Youtube channel where the main subject is about Slackware.
Hope you like it, long live Slackware!
thks Slackjeff!
First of all, well done for getting this out there. Secondly, I'm going to have to say this - I think it's a bit much to call this a 'documentary' when it's literally an interview with you about Slackware taken from a single camera angle. Still, it's very nice that you've done it and there's some interesting stuff in there. If any Linux distro deserves a documentary it should be Slackware. Slackware doesn't get enough coverage on Youtube, so putting something like this out can only be a good thing.
I will also say, with some trepidation, that if you ever need someone to do an English voiceover, let me know. I've never done any work in that area, but I did work in radio for a little while and I could probably do a semi-decent job.

Well I might as well throw my hat in the ring. Think Gilbert Gottfried only abrasive
Congrats! Great video.
Would be great to have it available with English subtitles so most folks here can understand what you say.
Again, congratulations!!
You said you've been a Slackware user since 2008. Out of curiosity, were you in attendance at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie on August 21st and 22nd, 2008?
That was the "Slackware Show" that PiterPUNK, Eric Hameleers, Alan Hicks, and I presented there. We had a great time in São Paulo! Here's the slides from that talk: https://rlworkman.net/slackshowbrasil/

Unfortunately not ... In 2008 I was getting to know the project (slackware) and did not have much contact with the staff, before that I used debian.
But thanks for sharing the link and the slides !!!
