My one query about your original is that you stated a upgrade from 13 to '-current'. You followed the '
Upgrade.txt' for '-current';

Try adding a thirdlevel DNS to your '/etc/resolv.conf': 4.2.2.1 is one of Verizon's.
If this works then your DNS has a problem.
