I installed Mate on a recent -current, now discarded VM. The mate-build-extra script failed halfway through. Not the first time that has happened. Do you remember this happening?
Well, I've just reinstalled on bare metal, latest current, and no problems! Sorry about that, Willy. The earlier install was full -current on Virtualbox, Master branch.
When launching Caja from the command line I see the following:
