I know these games are unoptimized sacks of trash, but at the end of the day I've been playing for well over a decade and I'm not going to stop now.

How does Slackware Current work on those Thundermountain servers on those other Linux systems? I tried Days of Defeat: Source. I created a server and loaded up a few maps. I was getting 170-300 FPS at 4k (native) with graphics settings defaulting on high. The game runs fine with Intel and NVIDIA for me.
