Slackware -Current and using Multiple Mirrors

Yes, the n00b is asking questions again! ;)

i am upgrading to -current because i am drinking the koolaid and want to run my nix box that way.

What are the advantages of using multiple mirrors? Is this always a good thing to do?

Thanks for any advice!

:::: reading slackbook rev 2 on my Kindle now :::: :study:

Your question does not make sense.

Multiple mirrors? For what? Used how?

Huh? The slackpkg utility is designed to use one and only one mirror. You navigate to /etc/slackpkg/mirrors and un-comment one mirror, save then exit. If you don't like the -current mirror that you selected then choose another one. You can only use one mirror at a time with slackpkg.
