Slackware current 64-bit Adobe Flash

What is the correct way to install Adobe Flash on Slackware 64-bit?

I have tried copying "libflashplayer.so" into the following directory.

/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins

Firefox still does not see the plug-in.

I verified that I did download the 64-bit version of the plug-in from the Adobe site.

flashplayer10_2_p3_64bit_linux_111710.tar.gz

I installed multilib. Could that cause a problem finding the flash plug-in?

Try putting the file in ~/.mozilla/plugins/

That's where I've got the Flash player in Slackware64 13.1 and it works fine with Firefox. I have the multilib stuff installed too. What are the permissions/ownership on libflashplayer.so? It doesn't show up when you type
Code:
about:plugins
in Firefox? You aren't somehow accidentally using the 32bit version of Firefox, are you?

Thanks, I'll check those things. It helps to know that you got it working in that location. I'm new to 64-bit Slackware.

OK, I do have Adobe Flash installed. It looks like there is a problem with the Adobe Flash player for Linux not being compatible with some content on Adobe's Flash player settings/configuration web page. The content displays a message saying that the flash player is not installed. Obviously that error message is incorrect.
