Slackware booting problem with Lilo...

Hello, I installed Slackware 10.2 on my computer with S-Ata hard disk. In installation I installed lilo too. Now I have booting problem with lilo. I can't boot Slack with lilo boot loader. On these lines booting stoped.

Kmod: faild to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-8, errno = 2
VFS: can not open root device "80a" or 08:0a
Please append the correct "root" boot option
Kernal panic: VFS : Unable to mount root fs on 08:0a

Note: I can boot Slack with installation cd1 by typing this

boot: sata.i root=/dev/sda10 noinitrd ro

What can I do??? I have to configure lilo again???

I don't think your boot kernel has the drivers for your SATA chipset. Which kernel did you select during installation (probably should have been sata.i)? Can you try passing those parameters to the hard drive's lilo prompt? As in boot: Linux root=/dev/sda10 noinitrd ro

I have heard of an install where the kernel named the SATA drives as if they were IDE, try boot: Linux root=/dev/hda10 noinitrd ro. (If that changes anything, then you'll have work to do on entries in the /etc/fstab )

._.
