I'm using GAG to choose between FreeBSD, Windows, and Slackware 10.1, and I can't get it to boot into Slackware. I chose "82h" and "83h Linux EXT2", and neither of them worked. The error returned was "Sector Boot not Found or Invalid".

I'm trying to boot from the bare.i kernel. Since my computer is based on ACPI, should I use the bareacpi.i kernel?
I`ve been experimenting with old computers and GAG.
I`ve installed slack9 several times and it always booted.
I installed lilo to the super block. Have you tried that?
