Question Slackware 9: Perminatly stop services?

On a fresh install of Slackware 9, where would I go to turn off such services as smtp (port 25), sunrpc (port 111), printer (port 515), submission (port 57).

I originally thought it was in the services file in /etc/ but quickly realized its not. What files do I need to edit, and what should I look for in those files?

Thanks!

Most are going to be started in your startup scripts in /etc/rc.d and or your inetd.conf file in /etc

Regards.
