slackware 9 NFS

in slackware 9, there is no exports file in /etc
I can not figure out how to setup the NFS for an install onto my laptop. I did it fine when I had slackware 8 on it! Someone please help me, how do I set up the client for NFS on slackware 9?

Did you install NFS and any related packages during install? You should have an exports file, if not create one but first check to see if you have nfs installed or not.
