Slackware 9.0 and Enlightenment

I installed Slackware 9.0 and the only X manager I installed was Gnome. I installed via tag files and just commented out the others. I downloaded the new E16.5.6-pre4 unpacked the source, ran the ./configure and had to deal with several dependency issues. After I got those taken care of I finally got the ./configure, make and make install to work. The program is compiled but when I try to startx it I get an error...

"...Enlightenment utility manager could not be found /usr/local/enlightenment/bin/dox..."

I checked my /usr/local/enlightenment dir and I don't even have a bin folder in there (ls -a so I know its not just hidden). Did my install just not go right or did I do something wrong along the way?

You sure you installed it? Maybe ./configure had failures and you didn't see them?
