I install Slackware 8.1 at a new PC. I connect 4 hard disk to a sil680 raid card. Dring Slackware 8.1 CD is booting, I select raid.s to boot. And then, I find I cant find any hard disk. When I type:fdisk -l, nothing display. What problem?

Most likely the kernel chosen does not have support for your card. Slack 8.1 is based on 2.4.18 kernel. Do you know if 2.4.18 supports your RAID card?

I check the boot message. Kernel know my Raid card. I check subdirectories /dev/ide/ and /dev/rd/ /dev/ataraid/, but nothing is in them. I wonder Slackware 8.1 install subdirectory tree have some problem. It havn't raid driver mount point. Who can tell me how to add these mount nod?
