Slackware 14 Patches -- [File] not a symbolic link
So, brand new full install Slackware 14.1 64-bit, get the patches, upgradepkg *.t?z. Lots of messages about file "not a symbolic link" (the files in lib64, Firefox, SeaMonkey, etc.).
Huh?
[EDIT]
Turns out it's KDevelop, installed in /usr/local.
Turns out you can't "make uninstall" because 14.1 is newer libraries and such that 14.0.
So, I'm just going to blow away the content of /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib64 (and /usr/local/packages/src/KDevelop) and see if that takes care of it.
Now that I know this, I'll uninstall all the KDevelop stuff on my other servers before I upgrade those to 14.1 -- the laptop is the test bed, it's screwed up and I'm hoping I can unscrew it without having to start from scratch.
Sigh.
