Thank-you Pat and team!

The fireworks were going off here last night. Canada's 149th birthday, and a Slackware release. Nice.

new release is working well for me, that's very cool, only thing I had to change on my fluxbox setup was the below:
Quote:
XF86AudioRaiseVolume :Exec amixer sset Master,0 2+
to
Quote:
XF86AudioRaiseVolume :Exec amixer sset Master,0 2%+

Lightbulb

Would be nice, if slackware went to a public VCS for greater transparency and assistance in the development process.

Congrats to Slackware team, admins & users.) Long live!

Woohooo updated and all is well!! Thanks everyone for all of your hard work. You have helped me learn a ton and create an amazing work of art on my new laptop. It's light, fast, and it was very easy to customize in a way to add an additional 30-40% to my battery time. I stayed away from Slackware for a while because people say it's difficult and only for experts but once you get the hang of things it's way, way easier to maintain and tweak than the "beginner distros". Now off to the Slack store to show my thanks :-) Great job all.
