i have a mce remote receiver and i use udev to create a device in /dev for lirc.

I used to use the following:

/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-lirc.rules

KERNEL=="lirc?", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0471", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0815", SYMLINK+="mceremote"

since using slackware 14.2, it has stopped creating /dev/mceremote ?

Everything input is handled by evdev now.
