For me libbonobo doesn't build. The error is:
Code:
In file included from client.c:33:0:
../bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-private.h:34:1: error: unknown type name 'GStaticRecMutex'
 extern GStaticRecMutex _bonobo_activation_guard;
 ^
make[3]: *** [client.o] Error 1
Obviously it needs a patch because of the newer glib2 that comes with Slackware 14.1.

Ten times more seeds for slackware-14.1-install than slackware64-14.1-install dvd, and the number of seeds for the source dvd is the sum of the two, which seems reasonable.

Long long way to go to x86_64.

14.1 and AlienBob's KDE 4.11.3 packages plus multi-lib.

Small problem on logout, restart, turn off. I get about ten seconds of black screen before X finally exits, but ctrl, alt, del restarts X in about two seconds.

xgamma not working in a script.

Does anybody know how the subscription works? I got a DVD subscription with 14.0 last year, does that mean I'll automatically get a copy of 14.1 in the mail? How do I check to make sure my credit card info is up to date?

By the way, big thanks to Pat and the team! Slackware ended my distro-hopping adventures, and now I can't wait to be the old guy in a few decades saying "Kids, I've been using Slackware since 14.0 -- Back in the 2010s! Now get off my lawn!".

Possibly the difference was because of the client. I was using extra/bittorrent/bittorrent-4.4.0-noarch-4.txz from slackware 14.1.

Don't know, but I'll need to find out as I've recently been issued with a new card.

I'd seed but Time Warner bought out my internet provider so now I have to adhere to their TOS which doesn't allow it.

enine : I'm not sure what you mean here.

Your ISP, has banned any kind of P2P traffic on its customers Internet accesses ?

That sounds crazy to me.

You are officially allowed to seed the Slackware ISO by the copyright holder. Sharing Slackware Linux isn't illegal.

All Internet traffic ist P2P traffic, because the Internet Protocol (part of the TCP/IP family) is a P2P protocol. So banning P2P traffic basically means banning all traffic.
